Clap Global is a platform that enables a unique exchange of cultures by helping international travellers visit local classrooms in India and engage in meaningful conversations with students. We had the pleasure of designing the Clap Passports, which are an essential part of the ‘Clap kit’ that is sent to schools to help them conduct ‘Clap Talks’, which are carefully designed interaction sessions through which the travellers engage with the students. The Clap Passports are used by the students as a means of reflection, to ensure that every Claptalk is meaningful and eye opening.
The passports have been designed on the basis of the Clap Curriculum and values such as Curiosity, Independent Inquiry, Emotional Intelligence, Self Evaluation, Self Awareness, Imagination and Creating Unconventional Inter-linkages.
Since travel is such an integral part of the whole activity, each book has been designed as a Passport, to provide access to a whole new world that is so different from ours. There are three age appropriate passports, that provide access to the World of Animals, a World of Monsters and even a World of Robots.
The first page is a stamped visa with instructions and rules for visiting the fantastical world. The rest of the book comprises of Claptalk reflection modules and activities that include a global map, several projects based on the Clap Curriculum and a very fun central page with collectible stickers on global pop culture.
